Who are Baird & Wargel?

Baird & Wargel is a Canadian business dedicated to the craft of custom gun stocks, shooting accessories, and firearm restorations. Originally founded in 2020 as Northwestern Ordnance, B&W focuses on historical authenticity and a deep understanding of arms design. Every piece is meticulously crafted, reflecting a commitment to quality, and individual preferences, and our hand-made pieces respect the rich traditions of firearms and their accessories made and used in Colonial North America.

Our stocks are made from the best selection of Canadian-sourced lumber, with all parts hand-fitted to ensure the tightest fit. These stocks are utilized for everything from modern firearms, classic muzzleloaders and surplus arms, and restoration projects. Whatever your needs are, Baird & Wargel strives to surpass expectations. B&W also offers a varied selection of handcrafted shooting accessories, both reproduction pieces and new pieces inspired by 18th to 19th-century originals.
